In July this year, we were delighted to be invited to attend The General Assembly of The United Reformed Church in Nottingham, as one of four winners in URC’s Community Projects Awards. The projects were so disparate that the prize-money was split equally between the four finalists, so we came away with a snazzy plaque and cheque for £2000, which we will use to train volunteers going into schools.
Imagine our surprise when news arrived yesterday that TrinityLearning is one of just 10 finalists in Groundwork UK’s Community Awards. Groundwork UK handle the projects for Tesco’s Bags for Life Scheme, which has funded two of our school garden projects. Representatives of TL will be attending a function at The House of Commons in November.
